The flood of the century?

From last weeks Tuesday the Danube which has already destroyed many things in Germany, Austria, Czech, etc. arrived also to Hungary. Last time in 2002 there was such a dangerous situation because of this amount of water. Along the Danube, not only one village's inhabitants had to move out and leave their home, now knowing when can they return to the beloved place.
At the weekend, the increasing passed Győr. Lot of streets, bridges are closed, and maximum the firefighters and other official servants can use those ways. Between Győr and Budapest the railways is also threatened so exact parts are unusable and traveller have to transfer to buses.
The flood comes to Budapest these days. We hope, that this week the bigger amount of the water will move.
A lot of volunteers also took part in the protection.
I'm also a member of a local volunteer firefighter crew, and we also tried to help.

This is movable dam, a Hungarian innovation, which has been also used in Austria, and in Szentendre.

The animals of the zoos in Győr also have to move.

Hundreds of volunteers spend days and nights, helping in the threatened villages and cities.

♬ Hungary won the British talent show

Almost unbelievable, but the Hungarian group, Attraction won the Britain's got a talent show in 2013. The funny things is that when they participated in a similar Hungarian show they fell out really quickly, sadly the poorly chosen Hungarian jury didn't appreciate their talent, finally someone had!
We're all happy about their success and we hope, that throught their art more people are interested in Hungary, too!

Big Wheel in Budapest, only 7th June ~ 22th June

Budapest has an amusement park, but if you compare to the amusement parks abroad, you won't call it like that, really. That was my feeling, when I was there.
But! In the period of 7th June ~ 22th June you can ride a Big Wheel in the centre of the city, so you can see the whole city. The price is 2400 HUF for an adults. 336 people can ride it in the same time.
You can find it on the Erzsébet tér, which is located right next to Deák Ferenc tér, where the three subway lines cross each other. You can check last year's photos here, at the "Szeretlek, Magyarország" (I love you, Hungary) website.
After 22th June the wheel moves to Sziget Fesztivál, so participants can ride it in August, as well.

부다페스트에 놀이공원이 있는데 외국의 놀이공원들과 비교하면 재미없는 것 같아요.
하지만! 6월7일 ~ 6월22일의 기간에 부다페스트의 시내에서 큰 바퀴를 탈 수 있을거에요. 위에서 부다페스트를 다 볼 수 있을거에요.
18살위에 가격이 2400 포린트이고, 동시에 336면이 탈 수 있어요.
Erzsébet tér라고 하는 곳에서 찾을 수 있어요. Erzsébet tér은 Deák Ferenc tér엽에 위치해서 쉽게 찾을 수 있어요. Deák Ferenc tér에서 지하철선들이 다 서로 교차해요. 작년의 큰 바퀴에 대해서 여기 'Szeretlek, Magyarország' (헝가리, 사랑해)라고 하는 웹사이트에서 사진들이 보여요.
6월22일후에 큰 바퀴가 Sziget Fesztivál이라고 하는 이벤트에 이사해요.

ハンガリーには遊園地がありますが、外国の遊園地に比べて面白くないと感じています。でも！六月七日～六月に十二日の間の期間にブダペストのセンターで観覧車に乗れます。上からブダペストを全部見えますね。
値段は十八歳の上の人たちに二千四百フォリンとで、同時に三百三十六人が乗れます。Erzsébet térという場所で見つけられます。Erzsébet térはDeák Ferenc térという場所のとなりにあります。去年の観覧車の写真は'Szeretlek, Magyarország!'(愛している、ハンガリー)というウェブサイトで見られますね。
六月に二十二日後、観覧車はSziget Fesztiválというイベントに引っ越しますから、Sziget Fesztiválに参加する人たちは八月にも観覧車を乗れます。

♬ Hungarian show at Britain's got a talent - we may win?!

All over the world almost everyone has heard about Britain's show, which is looking for singers, dancers, artist with special talent. Well, this year, there are Hungarian contestants, too. And they're one of the most successful! The crew called Attraction tells you a story in every show, with their shadows. Can you imagine this technology?
Soon, the final is coming. And our Hungarian team is there! Britain loves them, Hungary supports them, the jury is crying.
